Freedom or Security

I was just listening to a talk by Robert Kiyosaki and he was saying how you can't have both freedom and security. This is not the 1st time I have heard this. I guess for me though it gets hard to put myself out there because I have to provide for the family while seeking after the freedom. Unfortunately the hours I work take away the freedom and the time to seek after what I know I should be doing. It is really just a viscous cycle that I can't seem to shake. Maybe I should just put in a 2 week notice and start going for the gold. Then again I have to worry about this pesky thing call Crohn's Disease which I have to keep in check. So many have told me I have what it takes to do big things and I appreciate the kind words, but now I just need to take the leap. Security is an illusion though as the current economy lets us all know that security is temporary. I will get back to you later on this topic, but feel free to share your thoughts.
